As the daughter, niece, granddaughter, and great-granddaughter of rabbis, Talia has been immersed in Jewish culture and communities throughout her life. She enjoys attending synagogue at a variety of shuls that range from Chabad Orthodox to her father's post-denominational, Rocky Mountain Hai.

At Jacksonville University, Talia earned her bachelor's degree in Theatre and Dance Performance magna cum laude. After college she left a successful corporate career as a manager for Target stores in Los Angeles and Boulder to serve as the Public Relations Director for Ballet Nouveau Colorado. While there, she gained attention for BNC from national publications such as Dance Magazine and Pointe Magazine.

After leaving BNC, Talia went on to wear many hats at Patheos. She directed the Jewish Portal, managed the online community for the site as a whole, and assisted in the development of the public relations strategy. She has developed an expertise in social media, incorporating social networking and inbound marketing, as well as viral video sites, into her publicity and community-building plans. Talia's skills at ferreting out new networking tools, and her mastery of the geography of the World Wide Web, have been extremely beneficial to her clients, especially when introducing them to these mysterious and magical creatures called "blogs" and "Facebook status updates."

Over the past few years, Talia taught a Judaism and the Internet course as well as a visual tefillah course for Denver High schoolers. Besides her professional commitments, she has trained hundreds of children in the theatre arts. She served on the Advisory Board for E-3 Events for young Jewish Denverites and is a member of CultureHaus at the Denver Art Museum. Additionally, Talia served as the Public Relations Chair for the Gamma Phi Beta International Convention. Talia completed her Master's Degree in Applied Communication with a focus on Public Relations and Marketing from the University of Denver in 2010, where she published a thesis entitled Evaluating Social Media and Inbound Marketing Success for Content Delivery Companies.

In 2011, Talia completed a stint studying Judaism, Tanach, Rashi, and other Jewish subjects at Mayanot, Chabad women's seminary in Jerusalem. Talia enjoys performing as an actor in her spare time and worked professionally in Florida, California, and London. Recently, Talia served as the Chief Marketing Officer for the Robert E. Loup Jewish Community Center. Currently she is a freelance writer, editor, social media strategist, and website builder. A member of the ROI Community, she lives in Denver, Colorado with her husband Dan, their son DMH (fondly referred to as Nugget or Nugs here) and their puppy Soba Schnoodle.
